Fully watched and counted I've fully watched this series, and it is counted.
Partially watched and counted I've only partially watched this series, but it is still counted.
Fully watched but uncounted I've fully watched this series, but it isn't counted.
Partially watched and uncounted I've partially watched this series, and it isn't counted.

∗ Note that in this context, "counted" means that it counts towards the total number of series watched.

Q. Why are some shows fully watched but still remain uncounted?

A. These are usually the shows that are considered too short, or that aren't significant enough to be considered their own series. Despite this not meaning that these shows are of poor quality or aren't worth it to watch (in fact, for some shows it's quite the contrary), it does mean that they don't contribute to the "watched" anime count. Feel free to let me know if you disagree with my decision about any of then any why if any though!

Q. Why are some shows only partially watched but are still counted?

A. These are usually shows that are extremely long (e.g. hundreds, or even thousands of episodes), some of which still on-going so it's impossible for me to always catch up with their latest episodes. Despite this, however, I would still have to have watched a significant number of episodes (and / or have familiarized myself with it through various other means) for this status to even be considered valid. So no worries, anything with this status should be very justified!

Q. What's considered to be counted as one show? Could one series be counted multiple times?

A. Ah, good question! This is a bit of a tricky question to answer. For simplicity sake, what's considered "one" show here is usually a story that is long enough and also relatively self-contained. Therefore, it's usually a season of a show that is (when in standard size) around 12 ~ 25 episodes long. Some shows have seasons that might be chopped up into parts, thus how they're counted could vary depending on the situation; nonetheless, since different seasons most definitely have self-contained stories (that are usually continuations of each other), they are, by definition, considered to be different shows.

Q. Why are current season anime shows listed as fully watched?

A. Despite not finished airing, current season shows that I plan to fully watch are still counted in this case. If the plans ever change, I'll update their statuses accordingly, so no worries!

Q. I can't find a specific show after clicking on the link to a season. Where's that show?

A. Not every show is a TV anime, which is what the link defaults to! Try looking for it in other categories (movies, web series, etc.) and I'm sure you'll find it in no time.

Q. I have a question that is not listed here.

A. Feel free to let me know, and if it's significant enough maybe I'll add it here next!
